The Dana 35 rear axle has an original center section with a Dana stock diff, a Dana 35 ring and pinion gear, reduced Dana shafts, a home made individual wheel brake system with motorcycle parts and homemade brake disks. The clutch of the new mod is a 3 disc Tilton centrifugal clutch with a size of 7.25´´ inch and a homemade steel fly wheel. The new bell housing of the clutch is self constructed and homemade from steel. The tractor also got a new homemade driveline with a special built light weight reverser. The new reverser has a CNC-milled housing with special made gears. The complete reverser was constructed and machined by Stefan Schwarz of the Ghost Buster Pulling Team from Oberharmersbach, in Germany.
Michael purchased a set of new Real Wheel aluminium rims with 31x15.50-15´´ Dick Cepek Giant Puller tyres from the USA for his new project.
The new Nr.5 will have a turbocharged 5 cylinder Volvo power plant with 2.5l capacitiy on petrol fuel. The engine has a original Volvo block with a stock Volvo head, stonger valves and valve springs, a newly grinded Volvo camshaft, a homemade intake and exhaust manifold, a Garret GT 35 turbocharger, racing rods and revised pistons, a homemade fuel tank, a stock fuel system with a electronic fuel pump, an original oil pump, a Voltcraft 4 channel data logger and a MSD ignition from the USA.
Michael Fahrendorf and his Team will compete in the German Championship in the future. The maiden run of the new Nr.5 Tractor isn´t known at the moment.
